Introduction to "flexible travel"

"Flexible Travel" is a service applicable to passengers whose itinerary starts at Futian Station and ends at Hong Kong West Kowloon Station.

For passengers holding valid tickets, if their ticket is issued to the station between Futian and Hong Kong West Kowloon Station, they still have the right to travel on the date on the ticket even if they have already changed their ticket once or expired. On the same day, go through the formalities of changing the number of trains for "flexible travel" three times.

In order to further facilitate the travel between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, the railway department will release a certain number of "no-seat tickets" according to the transportation capacity and on the premise of ensuring transportation safety.

Passengers can choose to use these non-seat tickets when going through the formalities of changing the train number of "flexible travel" to provide more convenience.

"Flexible line" change train schedule rules

Passengers can go through the procedures for changing train numbers three times on the date of boarding on the ticket and the railway department has the transportation capacity, and choose the "flexible" train to take the train ahead of time or postpone it. Changes to destination stations are not handled.

Passengers who go through the formalities for changing the train number of the "flexible line" should do so within 1 hour after the departure of the current ticket train, and no later than 15 minutes before the departure of the selected "flexible line" train.

Passengers are not allowed to change the ticket type and seat class when going through the procedures for changing the train number of the "flexible train", and are limited to the procedures for changing the train number at a par price (no fare difference is involved).

Once the "flexible line" change train number procedures are completed, the ticket will not be refunded.

Passengers who have already exchanged their reimbursement vouchers must return their original reimbursement vouchers when going through the formalities for changing the train number of the "Flexible Travel".

Passengers can go through the 12306 website (including the "Railway 12306" mobile client), the station ticket window, and the automatic ticket vending (taking) machines at Futian and Hong Kong West Kowloon Stations to go through the "flexible travel" train number change procedures.
