Macau Special Administrative Region Law No. 7/2023 "Legal System for Talent Introduction" will come into effect on July 1, 2023!

The accompanying Administrative Regulation No. 19/2023 "Rules for the Implementation of the Legal System for Talent Introduction" and Administrative Regulation No. 20/2023 "Talent Development Committee" came into effect on the same day.

The SAR government will gradually announce the details of various talent introduction plans starting in August.

Part 1

talent type

The Macao Special Administrative Region’s talent policy focuses on key industries such as general health, modern finance, high-tech, culture, sports, conventions, exhibitions and commerce, and the introduction of talents is divided into three types: high-end talents, outstanding talents, and senior professional talents.
