history

Pattaya used to be a small fishing village with a beautiful bay. Until the Vietnam War in 1960, Pattaya was gradually known by people because of the American troops stationed here. Fishermen have lived on the bay for hundreds of years, but the military base in the northern province of Nakhon Ratchasima has changed her environment forever.

The troops broke away from the terrible war, enjoying the sun, sea, beach, and girls to their heart's content. Tourists poured in like a tide and were attracted by the facilities and services here. In the past few years, the resort has tried to transform its unbearable image into family friendly. Although the red light district still attracts a large number of tourists and temporary residents, it is less exciting than in previous years.
