St. Kitts and Nevis has once again strengthened the administration of its Citizenship by Investment (CBI) program and announced important changes.

New interview session

According to the latest revision of the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment (CBI) program new regulations, from July 19, 2023, main applicants aged 16 and above for the St. Kitts and Nevis CBI project need to accept virtual or Face-to-face interviews as part of the application process.

The new policy applies to all applicants, including applications submitted but not approved by the Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU).

Six Principles of CBI

On February 25, 2023, the historic US-Caribbean Investment Immigration Roundtable was successfully held in St. Kitts and Nevis.

The meeting brought together a delegation of five Eastern Caribbean countries' citizenship-by-investment programs led by the Prime Minister and a US government delegation led by the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the US Department of the Treasury. The Governor of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank and the Director-General of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States were also invited to participate.

The group is collectively committed to the six principles of citizenship by investment (CBI) proposed by the United States, several of which have been voluntarily adopted by five Caribbean governments as part of their risk management frameworks to strengthen and maintain the integrity of their citizenship by investment programs .

Applications from persons rejected in another CIP jurisdiction will not be processed and countries will proactively share information on such denials.
