Border restrictions eased across the board

Masks are not required in public places

Starting from February 13, citizens are not required to wear masks in public places.

Lifting Singapore's new crown medical procedures

Singapore has now lifted the three-tier Covid-19 medical procedure.

COVID-19 patients no longer need to be quarantined or complete testing requirements under the three medical protocols prescribed by the authorities.

State of emergency raised to green level

The alert level of the Singapore Disease Outbreak Response System (DORSCON) has been lowered from yellow to green.

This means that Singapore has completely "get rid of" the acute phase of the epidemic, and citizens have fully returned to normal life.

Disband the interdepartmental anti-epidemic working group

Due to the need to fight the epidemic, an interdepartmental working group composed of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Health, and Minister of Trade and Industry of Singapore has been fighting on the front line of the epidemic in Singapore since its establishment in January 2020.

Following the lowering of the DORSCON alert level, the authorities decided to disband the working group.

Reduced corona benefits

Starting from April 1, the Singapore government will further reduce the new crown subsidy.

All patients (including citizens, permanent residents, and long-term pass holders), regardless of vaccination status, will no longer receive full subsidies when receiving COVID-19 treatment.
